Cordova Methane Controls Introduces New Product, SolarHawk, to Provide Compressed Air for Pneumatic Process Controllers
SolarHawk is designed for continuous operation at legacy production sites

Greeley, Colo. (Feb. 17, 2026) – Cordova Methane Controls, a pioneer in supplying engineered environmental solutions to the energy industry, announces its move into compression technologies with the release of SolarHawk. The SolarHawk product, specifically designed for legacy production sites, delivers a reliable supply of compressed air for pneumatic process controllers using solar power.

Cordova Methane Controls’ next-gen compression technologies are designed to provide reliable compressed air, reduce operating costs, integrate seamlessly into existing processes and deliver consistent performance with minimal maintenance.

The SolarHawk is engineered for continuous operation, even on cloudy days, with optional heaters for cold climates and auto-drain capabilities for water removal. This addresses the challenges many legacy production sites face when in need of reliable compressed air for pneumatic process controllers.

Dependence on traditional energy sources or outdated systems can lead to operational downtime, high maintenance costs or poor performance. The SolarHawk is sized for continuous operation, can be installed in two hours and is an affordable solution for operators in need of emissions reduction, especially at legacy sites.

The product is available in two models, the SolarHawk 80-200 and the SolarHawk 104-400. Both models can be installed quickly and have small footprints on a production site. While the SolarHawk 80-200 is completely solar dominant after three to five peak sun hours, the SolarHawk 104-400 can run for approximately 12 days after three peak sun hours and approximately 49 days after four peak sun hours. Both models have optional catalytic heater and automatic natural gas revert add-ons to support overall site needs.

“Our team understands the challenges legacy production sites face when it comes to air supply in certain climates and conditions, which is why we prioritized the development of the SolarHawk,” said Cordova Methane Controls President Derek Moore. “We designed this product for simple start-up, continuous operation and with the ability to withstand harsh environmental conditions, all with the goal of helping our customers avoid costly operational downtime and maintenance.”

Cordova Methane Controls is committed to providing customers with innovative solutions that allow them to meet emissions regulations and foster environmental stewardship. The SolarHawk is the latest in Cordova’s line of affordable, solution-oriented products that help legacy production sites stay up, running and profitable. Cordova’s mission is to remain on the cutting edge of the industry while remaining economically feasible and environmentally conscious.
